Yeah, I was thinking about it and it has to be low maintenance and simple or it's just too much.
So, if the simple Randomly Selected Entry is not a fun thing for you, we'd have to base it on some other randomness. I'll keep thinking. Tallying votes and such is probably too much work.
There's the "First one to guess __________" type of thing too. Could be tied to a future event that you don't even know so the timing thing works and everyone has a chance to enter. That's hard if nobody guesses it so I'd have to be the proper type of thing.

Trivia is so easy to look up on the net these days that it's hard to make a posting contest with it.

i like the dow change on a certain day and isn't it football season as per pepper? maybe guess the outcome of one particular, high-visibility match? guys seem to enjoy that!
