It got pretty mind here this afternoon but the wind was blowing up a storm. We had all kinds of weather warnings but they're all gone now.

Dang neighbor next door has his yard lights on. Guy kitty-corner across the street keeps his garage lights on and door open frequently too. Front yard is 1/2 lit up. May try back yard. But ...sigh...may just give up. It's not very predicable anyway and it takes and hour for you to get full night vision....
I remember when it used to be dark at night. Little light pollution. Now it's too crowded.
You know, there are little inner city kids that have never really seen the stars? Sure, they've seen the brightest ones...but not the "depth".

You want the wick to be about the same diameter as the coil. Dampen the end of the wick and twist the end to compress, just like ya do when threading a needle. You don't want the wick to be jammed tightly in the coil, cotton will swell when wetted; too much wicking in the coil will choke it when wetted.

I suck at cotton wicks. (we all do, if you think about it...lol)
They burn if you over vape em. I think I need to try lower ohms so fewer wraps. I usually burn them out in the center of the coils due to over vaping. Or maybe I need to try to space the coils out more.
My few trials with micro-coils were....nice cotton fryer inventions. Burned the wick right smack in the center every time. Could be a mass production wick-cutting coil for some cotton wick cutting machine.
And no, it's not too much cotton. Some even didn't have enough cotton. So...meh.

I keep thinking about trying the cotton but haven't got there yet. My coils come cheap from Co-Ops so I toss them. I use mostly tanked fusions anyway.
