Well ... I now have 4 tubes that don't fit my Davide mini . Guess I'll just pick up another DM. The blue coating is still coming off the DM glass tube.

Hi Katya!

Not sure if this fits your needs or not but VJ listed this not too long ago ...

Ohm Meter @ VJ

I won't ask what that 'something' is that you are planning on rebuilding ... NSA has ears 'ya know! :D

Hey, Haze! Nice find! TY

I like that sigelei because it's small and cheaper...

NSA? I thought our posts in the Snails were considered non-essential and are not being monitored during the shutdown. ;)

But who knows? I have no idea what I want to rebuild... I'm just pondering the possibilities. I still can't tell the difference between the rba, rda, RSST and such. And what the heck is a hybrid atty????

Kat.....

Maybe you already have a multimeter, IDK. If not, I still suggest a $25.00 multimeter over a dedicated ohm thingy for 510 connectors. But that's me.

I'm sure Catt or I can solder up a 510 connector tester setup if you want one...all you'd have to do is clip the probe's alligator clips to the wires. So get alligator clips for the probes too.

You don't NEED a special connector though...you can just use the probes. Sometimes it's awkward to hold though.

This way, you can also test battery voltages off the charger. And they are more accurate for ohms.

What do you think Catt?

Oh, my sweet Atty! Thank you so much for the offer! You're too kind.

However, I do have a regular multimeter, but it's such a production every time I need to test a silly coil. And I have two mods that read ohms... The problem is that I like to check my atties often, when they arrive and after I clean them, for instance, and I don't want to put dry atties on my APVs because, as you know, in order to read the ohms, those mods need to fire the atomizer for a short time so I don't want to take the risk of damaging it.

I would like to be able to just screw the thing onto the meter and be done with it--one hand operation. :) As opposed to two hands and two knees with the traditional multimeter.

do check the interest and discussion co-op thread - bj is highly impressed with his gadget and hopes somebody will reproduce it!
