Egg beaters with a paper-thin slice of ham and very light sprinkle of cheese on an English Muffin.

:censored:-hag friend's ex-hubs and/or son did not show up to reattach the small piece of siding.

So, I fired off a note to a "handyman" from the local PennySaver.

Remember: this is a 5-10(tops) minute job where I supply EVERYTHING.

$150

I wrote back mentioning that $150 is between $900 and $1800 per hour (excluding travel time). I also suggested he take a hike.

lol, bear ;)

btw i tried to make you happy in site feedback but now i gotta run! :D

There's no hope Tibs. Apparently his head explodes if you qualify stuff with "Fewer".

1 English muffin = 15 grams carbs
1 waffle with syrup = 15,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 carbs (or something like that).

BTW, when you go on your next carb binge, because you've been depriving yourself, and want a good waffle, the trick is to make the homemade ones. Separate the eggs. Beat the whites to stiff peaks. Make the batter with everything but the whites. Add the whites last, folding them in. Makes great waffles that are not dense at all.

No urban dictionary jokes on any of the above please. I already thought about it.

And....Good morning bear. :D :)

BTW: I have not been "depriving" myself of anything. What I HAVE been doing since early-ish may is being portion-conscious AND carb-wary. By that I mean that anything having >8% rda per portion gets EXTRA attention (anything less is complete fair game). NOTHING has been cut out completely... that does not work (for me).

And it has worked quite well.

But it seems I have hit a plateau (in a +/- 2-pound range)... and I lay that to not being "Summer active" in the yard. Time to dust off the recumbent bicycle, I suppose. I am 18 away from the number I pledged to my doc for February. It *will* be attained.
