Well, 4.5 to 5 more months.....and it will be Spring! :D (I mean the Weather kind on Spring, not the calendar kind...)

Way to look on the bright side Kat.

No Provari here Mad. Most of us vets just rub two sticks together to generate heat, hold it near an RBB and vape the juice that way. No fancy stuff. :D :lol:

OK, seriously, Provari is a good device because it holds up, delivers, and has good support if it breaks. You pay $$$ for that. And frankly, it's a bit dated (no VW) and the one-button thing drives many nuts. So it's a crap shoot. I use regulated mods right now because I like the consistency of the vape. Voltage isn't changing all the time. You can "go low" and just replace when bad and have spares, or "go high" and expect it to last forever (but it can get dated). So meh. Personal pref.

I "go low" and use regulated box mods...I build em for $18.00 each. Or tibby gives me a hand-me-down she isn't using. :D My current box has a 15 watt limit. For a few more bucks I could upgrade it to...I think it is...20 watts...by swapping the regulator.

Ummmmm.... hmmmmm.... It does have variable voltage. And since wattage is a function of voltage... wouldn't that make it, by default, "variable wattage"???

::insert exploding head gif here::

I own one, but am neither happy or unhappy with it. A "3" on a 1 to 5 scale.

Well, "Manual VW"...lol.

VW in e-cigs reads the ohm value of whatever coil you attach and then calculates the proper voltage for you. So it's a feature. It has to be designed to do that though.

But one could calculate wattage based on voltage and resistance, yes? So one would adjust the voltage to get desired wattage.

Next, we'll want toilet paper that wipes our asses FOR us, with no thought on our part!!! :D :D :D

...and I put no faith whatsoever in those fancy-schmancy terlets with the water sprays. In my past experience, there are times when Niagara Falls itself would not get the "job" done properly.

Exactly. That's about how much I value it. Good ....ogy.

However, some like VW. I think it depends on how you use it. If you have a lot of the same-type cartos and just switch flavors all day long and the coils vary a bit...it auto adjusts for you. But if you swap device types...they vary as to their watts needs...so swapping a RBA for a CE4 requires you to adjust the watts anyway...so you may as well do VV.

I'm one of the ones that the 'one button' thing drives nuts :rolleyes: I'm always bumping the Vs up or down a notch throughout the day. To have to click-click-click-click-click-click-click to do this would
