I've got the new Sara Paretsky novel loaded on the iPad, so off to read and wait. See ya

Today's chore:
Rearrange garage... bringing out snowthrower and snow tires (for Friday install... a bit LATE) and put away lawn mower(s). Check oil, fill gas tank on snowthrower, start it up.
Reminder of pet peeve: It's NOT a "snowBLOWER". It's a "snowTHROWER". There is not ONE driveway machine that BLOWS any snow. The augurs THROW it. They do not BLOW it. Get it? Got it? Good.

FYI:
There is a "SnowSPANKER". It has these rubberized flaps that SPANK the snow out of the way. But I imagine it's for use in the pansy-... snow-level part of the country. Around here, the snow would just laugh and cause the SnowSPANKER to just choke to death on its own sick.

Do you think you are going to find peace on a flight? What about getting assigned to a seat with a guy that weighs 300lbs. and hasn't taken a shower for a week. Yep, that sure would make reading more pleasant.

Bear, there's snow brooms and snow throwers. Different tasks. :/
Although for the "little bits of snow clearing" tasks, may as well use a shovel. But it could be handy for the back deck or somewhere that you can't get the snow thrower to.
