It's the boomer thing that's worrisome, CES. Too easy.

Time for a central agency to supervise all RA material transport....like their military or something.

There's a bunch of material the Soviets didn't account for either. Obama did a whole "thing" on it in 2010...the need for the world to monitor this stuff. Really sad that you'd even have to explain that. Should be the norm.

I was having problems with my DSL going out and called Fairpoint a couple weeks ago. The guy had me do this and that on one of their websites and then told me I'd have no more problems. Lost connection 2 minutes after I hung up and was way too ...... to call back. Didn't have any big trouble til yesterday morning when it was going out every 5 minutes. A very unhappy me called again. Repair guy was her first thing this morning. He was very thorough. Checked the outside box and put a filter there. Checked up on the pole and down the road in the big box he removed something they had in there that blocks DSL. Now we'll see. So far so good but it's early yet.

    Hiya, snails!

My sister is a certified Feldenkrais practitioner/teacher. Prior to breaking my leg (the first time), she treated me for my lower back issues and neck issues I had from yet another previous motorcycle accident. Yes, I know...please don't say it. :p :D When I was walking again back in August, she got me to where you could barely notice my limp (I was suffering from foot drop as a result of the broken leg).

My point is, alternative treatments rock. My dad has been a practicing MD for 40+ years (he's finally frackin retiring at the end of this year). Having "gone to the doctor for treatment" more times this year than I had during the whole decade prior, I can't help but say that I dislike today's health care system. I wish more holistic health practices were encouraged; believe it or not, I envy the French when it comes to this.

Holy guacamole, I lost my train of thought. Or rather, my typed rant couldn't keep up with my mental rant, LOL.

So yeah...hope the back gets better, tibs.

Frannie, hope your interwebs is fixed

CES, Atty...now you've got me worried that all the hardware in my leg is retaining radioactivity from all the x-rays that have been taken.

I may have to drink a beer with lunch...

Atty, i hope it's not all that easy to make anything that goes boom from medical radioactivity...(but i have no idea)

Good luck with your DSL Fran.

I'm not really in the mood to work today, but I'm here, so i'd best get to it.

No no no. That's not quite it. Basically, the RA material is "extra" stuff around conventional stuff. The article called it a "dirty bomb". It's not nuclear. But it makes a very dirty blast area. :(

I received my Pat Lafrieda prime beef hamburgers today thru fedx. They had a great deal 5lbs (16 5oz. hamburgers) for $34.99 (regular price $56), includes overnight shipping. It's has been looking like it is going to rain all day. I'm planning on cooking on the grill at 5pm. Anybody know when it's going to start raining? (rhetorical question, tibby:p)
