Tree and all Christmas stuff has been hauled upstairs and the living room put back in order. A little snow shoveled off the deck and the car cleaned off and moved. Woodpile is stocked. Now I'm tired.

On another note: When you have family driving in from outta town, you'd expect them to let you know when they leave & arrive, right? Or at least provide some form of notification. Typically, my older brother and his family arrive 6hrs after their provided target time. Sat. night I was told noon on Sunday as an arrival time. When 9:30pm rolls around, I call my parents to ask when my dear brother is going to arrive and my mother tells me, "Oh, they've been here for a while already!"

...and also picked up birthday cake and MORE ice cream. The kind HE likes (me, not so much) so I'm not tempted to indulge more than the obligatory scoop later tonight. Did the SAME thing yesterday for Dad's birthday... and that ice cream stayed THERE along with about 75% of the remainder of the cake.
