... no dental ... BUT... if I get my PCP to write up the (needed) extractions as "MEDICALLY necessary", they would be covered. I'd still have to pay for IV sedation out of pocket. He can play the system and DOES.

Eye doc $20 copay for visit, 5% toward glasses (ie: I pay 95%) once per year. Does on accrue.

And here comes Atty with a comment about "playing the system"... I just know it.

Maybe. But not what you think. I'm in the "keep it simple and let the doctors do what they NEED to do and pay them for it" camp. Get rid of most of the regulations...but mandate proven need. And spend the $$$ instead on reviews/oversight and catching "crook" doctors that scam the system and ruin it for those that actually do something.

So...I have no problem with the fact that doctors need to "play" the system just to survive....but the system should be changed. It's a disgrace created by bureaucrats.

WHICH ONE?!?!?! EVERYTHING is maddening!!! Why - OH WHY - is NOTHING EASY anymore?!?!?! No, really, seriously. EVERYTHING is made to be a CHORE. Not "made out to be" a chore... but an ACTUAL chore.
