Afternoon Snail people! :D

Meggers ? Did you really lose post count ?
Yep! When they moved us! Yo...your people DID that. And they didn't fix it. So now I've been here four years and am stuck with 420 posts.

Sure sounds like it!

But...nope. I like things like....roads. Spoiled, I guess.
And indoor plumbing. Them "dry" houses...not for me!

[Assuming '"dry" house' = outhouse] I ain't that old yet; but growing up in rural central PA, I can remember using outhouses.  While we had indoor plumbing; we also had a 'working' outhouse until I was ~4 or 5 (late '60s).
I don't think my grandparents got indoor plumbing until the '80s  :D

 We had indoor plumbing but my Grandparents didn't(I spent a lot of time there). Much of Alaska(even in and around Anchorage)have dry cabins(houses). They don't have any water supply to the house cause of the permafrost. It's really expensive to run water to a house there. So, though they have kitchen sinks, they have a bucket under it that catches the water you have to haul in a big jug that sets on the counter. Some houses have, basically, a camp stool. You use it indoors but then you have to take the business outside. I...I'm just too old for that foolishness. My idea of camping, after all, is a Motel 6.
