since i no longer have any sense of time, I was thinking that the farrier came every couple of weeks...sigh.


Have to stop by the vet on my way home today- pick up something that will actually take care of the beasties fleas. Turns out, per the vet, that frontline isn't working very well this year (no kidding). So i'm gettting advantage- which is reported to be working along with some pill (capstar)that kills fleas within about 30 minutes. so, perhaps the beasties will actually sleep tonight (though one of the rare side effects of the capstar is.........itching )
