Five, Tibs?!

Yikes. I have the doors secured, and motion detectors, glass break detectors, and burglar bars (put those on myself) rather than contacts on the windows. Of course, with the beasties, the motion detectors are never armed...but the beasties detect motion too. (and they do it VERY well)

Good morning, Bear.

I'm not entirely sure that my glass break detectors are armed when i have the alarm set on "stay", but of all the hiccups that i had in my system, the glass break detectors weren't one of them.

There was a wire crossed somewhere, and every power fluctuation resulted in false hostage and medical alerts. But only when i was out of town. Invariably I'd get two calls in a row from the monitoring company within 24 hours of leaving town. Of course those alerts didn't set off the siren, so whoever was house sitting had no clue that anything was triggered.

Time to rip out Porcelain Throne guts, then off to a specialty hardware for replacement parts!

I better put a bucket in the shower in case Husbear needs to "evacuate".

Not for him to USE said bucket, but to fill n' flush.

love people who make things complicated

and i'm gone
