I remember when my Mom passed. It was on October 12th and we had her service (outside) on the 16th. The weather was fantastic! Mid to upper 70's the whole day and beautiful sunshine!

It IS Norie! Sorry I have been so absent. So many other things going on these days. How is the no work thing going?
Staying home all day is NOT all it's cracked up to be. Yeah, I have things to do and places to go but it's not the same as having a set schedule. That will change in the Spring (after unemployment runs out) and I find a part-time job. I'm considering doing some volunteer work for the local Humane Society until then. They have a satellite cattery in a nearby PetsMart and I could easily do a few hours a week there. The danger is melting over the kitties and bringing one/some home. That happened in '07 when I was doing time at the city pound.
It is SUCH a pain in my ..., really. Sigh. It'll all be over (yet again) in a month from now.
