yup! reason for panic > southern drivers!
and feeling not all that great i decided i'm not gonna chance it today!
The reason...is ICE. You guys don't get snow... you get snow covered icy roads. We salt+sand ours. Seldom too icy (although I have horror stories....). Your ground is warm and melts the stuff onto the roads and then it freezes into an ice rink.

i have to disagree, atty! i drove in germany and nyc for years but southern drivers are in a class of their own no matter what the road condition!
