time to make some noise? One would think that it would be newsworthy. I hope that it's not about that sort of thing being so frequent that it's not even news...

(the most recent articles i could find with a quick search were all last july, and about plans- no follow up at all)

Welcome to IT projects Tibby.

Sometimes they go well, sometimes they don't. For a variety of reasons. If this stuff was dirt simple, we wouldn't need all these complexities. And the software and environment is constantly changing. The article lacks technical details. I assume that's mostly because most people wouldn't understand em anyway. They may get back on track. Someone needs to go light a fire under them and get "Phase I" working without continual "Analysis paralysis" and constant "changes". Plus get the hardware provider to cough up devices and also get the interference worked out. Sounds like mostly wireless to me, but who knows for sure.

It said they have until March 4 to reply back to Uncle Sam.

P.S. I say all that while downloading Windows 8

well, they got the money and agreed to the contract terms ............ where's the problem? they've been twiddling their thumbs and nobody cared till now

THEY cared. They probably didn't get real vocal about problems though...just tried to solve em. There's actually a lot of optimism and dynamic changes that happen in big projects like that.... sometimes you shoot yourself in the foot. Some times life puts stuff in the path to trip over....

I hope they get it worked out.

Twiddle fingers? That's like saying "PVT is nothing...no behind the scenes stuff or work or debates...."
