I've been contemplating the last big ticket item for the house. It's been a work in progress since we bought it but the only big ticket item left is the biggest one..........The kitchen from the floor up. We had planned it for a springtime job............

Hubby's playing taxi today. His back felt pretty good when he got home but all the bouncing thru the mud with the truck ain't going to do him no good. Friend is dropping his truck off at the plow place one town over and hubby's gone to pick him up and bring him home.

By the time the weekend arrives, much of the country will have experienced a temperature roller coaster taking folks from shorts and T-shirt weather to conditions that require heavy coats and gloves.

Kansas City saw highs into the mid-70s recently, but temperatures dropped 40 degrees over several days after a surge of Arctic air arrived. In Richmond, Virginia, it was 72 on Wednesday, and on Friday it is supposed to be in the upper 30s.

my main concern atm is batteries - average online time per battery so far > 3 hrs

lap top is usually up and running 15 hrs - i'm short one battery ................. sigh
