Oh that really sounds good.
We've been contemplating the job of the kitchen. Not so much the cost but the nightmare of a job gutting the room. Gives me nightmares.

be careful, frannie! my friend has been living with this nightmare for 3 yrs 
Oh and not to mention that my computer,file cabs etc live at one end of the kitchen.

Well I'll tell you that is not going to happen. We're going with wood flooring and we already have it. We have a friend that does sheetrock and 2 carpenter friends. They work cheap. Sheetrock guy works free for us. We were given several brand new oak cabinets so we don't need many more.

Ah I see the problem now. Everything will go on paper before we even start. No changes in progress.
