I hope you did NOT have these installed:
... glass-break sensors (triggered by sound)
... smoke detector in the kitchen
The glass-break sensors will trigger with thunder.
A smoke detector in a kitchen is just simply a bad bad (bad bad) idea.
...and if the losing sliding-glass-door salespeople do NOT stop calling back to "check up", they will get an earful.
They just can NOT take a hint.

no worries, bear! just did the 6 doors coming in and motion detectors in all downstairs rooms
they didn't mention false alarm triggers but explained how all sensors can be defeated
