Hmmm, interesting. I'm not too worried about the peppermint; but have been thinking about going back to the TPA, just because if I'm off a little bit in measuring with the TPA, not much of a problem; with the LorAnn's, a little bit off in the measurement will be much more noticeable.
TPA just states "Ingredients:Ingredients:Natural & Artificial Flavor, Propylene Glycol, Ethyl Alcohol"; 'natural' could be the peppermint oil, especially with ethanol to make it "water soluble". I may send Linda at TPA an email asking about it.

It says "not water soluble." Lorann.

"Contains: Natural peppermint oil. Insoluble in water."

    TPA states that:

    "
    Peppermint Flavor
    water soluble
a peppermint candy type of flavor
Ingredients:Natural & Artificial Flavor, Propylene Glycol, Ethyl Alcohol
    "

    From Wiki:
"The chemical composition of the essential oil from peppermint (Mentha x piperita L.) was analyzed by GC/FID and GC-MS. The main constituents were menthol (40.7%) and menthone (23.4%). Further components were (+/-)-menthyl acetate, 1,8-cineole, limonene, beta-pinene and beta-caryophyllene"

    Popping by just for fun....

I'd go with the TPA Tom....like Kat said.

I'm using very little flavoring ....and less VG too. Mostly PG and nic extract (and the nic extract is in 100% PG) and a little flavoring of whatever...very mild but "there". No EM, no oils, little if any VG, no alcohol. The fewer chemicals the better, IMO.

There was one report about lipids in lungs of one woman that was attributed to her e-cig use. She had other issues, and the report didn't include specifics on the juice. I know VG is not quite the same...but it gives me "heavy feeling" if I vape too much of it...so I figured that was a self-warning sign for me.

Also, I just recently switched out from lime to another flavor...lime was getting a little "harsh" feeling. So I go with my minimalistic approach and swap flavors. Can't stand unflavored. Sigh.
