DTA boxes ARE NOW WORKING...after being on the phone with tech support for a change...tech also got the DTAs working! So...tomorrow's on-site call cancelled. Boxes working.

I told him I owe him a beer...

Maybe it helped changing plans too. IDK. But who cares. It was all on their end...and it's working!!!! ~~~~~

You did not pass along the ENTIRE message...

...and that is that it's been a "merde" avalanche the last couple/few weeks. Spare time has been precious. Not going into details right now, but the crap isn't taking a break.

The latest steaming pile was Thursday. Remember about a month ago when one of the valve stems on the car broke and I had to get it towed? Well, I was running the car through the car wash and ANOTHER valve stem broke. The tire went flat while traveling along the track and ended up going up and over and off the track. Which shut down the entire car wash. I and a whole bunch of other people were stuck in our cars for almost 1.75 hours... and I won't even get into the HUGE HUGE traffic jam it caused... or damage to the car.



I'll be back in a bit and get to the anniversary threads.

Tib.........I will be the Benefits Representative (insurance and stuff) at our 54th street plant. I will also get a pay increase No longer in payroll, I will miss the ladies I work with but it was time for a change. Different job and location, it's going to be interesting!

CES.....not sure if that means more time for ECF but I will get holidays off and not have to work the weekends before holidays!!

Bear.....sorry you have had a rough time lately

Probably will be some overtime involved right now, but the plant has been running 7 days a week to keep up with inventory. That will slow down pretty soon with summertime coming, we have a lot of contracts with the schools. Not sure if you know I work for a food processing company, we make angus pub burgers, chicken fried steak and all kinds of stuff from breakfast sandwiches to waffles.

I'm just glad the damage was minimal... cracked headlight lens and cracked right-turn yellow lens. But it WAS frightening... I was just glad the conveyor stopped before all the cars in back piled upon my ... end. The car wash said to bring them the receipt for repairs.

Just another quick stop in for a "hi".

I'll recite the story of my 83-year-old Dad falling and cracking his head against asphalt... and emergency... and hospital... and how his entire face is now a "black eye"... and the dazzling oozing weeping purple Easter Egg he has on his head... and how my time has been spent taking care of all that since last Friday.

...while getting over flu.
