Well I had one of these computer desk thingys with the back that has a shelf and cubbyholes. I dismantled the back and just have the flat desk part in the living room now.I'll be getting a regular desk before my puter gets back in it's home.

So....Sounds good. I'd still tape the wall/ceiling corners though, but that would delay your paint/molding and mean more taping. Sorry...none of my business. I'm getting opinionated again....sorry.
It's just that if...say...you leave the house to the kids, and they want to take the molding off during a remodel...then there's no tape.....

The walls will be taped but not from wall to ceiling. The kids are on their own. LOL
They have round plastic cut-out covers with lid things that you can get...just cut holes with a hole saw (if you want to) and then put the cable hole cover thing in place....just FYI.
