Car at shop for snow tire removal, rotation and new valve stems. It took one hour for them to tell me that the valve stems would need to be ordered and it would be another 2-3 hours. I asked that they shuttle me home and pick me up when completed.
So here I am. Disgruntled. They KNEW what was needed when I made the appointment.
Other status:
...sliding door to be installed tomorrow (with weather forecast of snow, rain and high winds).
...landscaping not until mid-month
...added 25% of lawn to be roto-tilled, graded and seeded
...Cheri has 50% downpayment for bear carving
...deck to be powerwashed next Thursday, then stained shortly thereafter
...got called on the carpet by Department of Labor for them to see my job-search activity (on the 3rd). Not going. Unemployment is now bound to end ahead of time. OF COURSE I would be the one chosen to set an example. Other people suck on the teat of the State and get away with it. Oh well... benefits are being cut 10% due to sequester anyway.

...Dad's sister wants me to get him one of those "LifeAlert" things. Not a BAD idea, but he will get royally ...... off if I do it without telling him... OR if I even bring it up. $30/month for at-home only monitoring. He will not even take the cane I gave him to borrow (from when I had major back problems back in 2005).
...doing battle with "Waste Management" and THEIR ERROR that I am $129 past-due by 120 days. Incompetent .......s.
