OMG we have 27 degrees and an ice storm. The guys are pretty frustrated today. They set the island cabinets, set the temp counter top on and when they went to move the sink they found back back of the faucet had rotted thru. Now they're off to Home Depot to get a new faucet and required piping and fittings. Nothing seems to go right.

You can count the complexity/unplanned parts of a project by how many trips you have to make to the hardware store for stuff you didn't know about when you started....
Sigh. No matter how well you plan in advance, "it's always something".
Flyby. Borrowing the front-room TV for use as a monitor while I'm debating a "new" one that I can't afford now but have to get....

I'm not worried about hubby's driving in an ice storm but I am worried about him walking. If he falls he will get hurt and I know Home Depot's parking lot is all ice.

The one cat wants to go out but the truck (front) and spray (back) is scaring him.
The sleet and freezing rain has stopped and now we have light snow. UGH!!!!!!!!!!
atty, don't overlook goodwill! our store here always has several monitors including a flat screen or two!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and they are guaranteed to work or you can bring'em back! something like that might get you the time needed to decide which replacement you want when you are ready for it.
