i couldn't find much on her failed update but she's definitely not alone 
seems some people were lucky after repeated tries or deactivating av during the install .....

Guess I'll read back (just skimmed earlier). I think she had and error code #...
She could try downloading the update individually and maybe running it in safe mode...

Oh sure... we go up to Toronto last night for some spontaneous "fun and frolic" and see what I miss.

Looks like I have to pay a LONG overdue visit "elsewhere"... it's been months!
