What matters more is how it's calibrated to the voltage readout. The RMS vs PWM debate lies at the heart of this, but it really doesn't mean much....just turn it up or down until its a good vape. I don't believe the coil cares much...although it may be .1 or .2 off on the voltage display from some "ideal". Meh. Just mentally adjust. It's just voltage to a coil in the end.

Omg- i look out at other vehicles in the lot, and there is a pick up truck with a family of carved bears in the back..wonder if one of them wants to go to the shores of lake ontario.

I do not want a "family" of them. Makes me think of:

@Morri - Bear has an ... odd ... sense of humor (;)) and be wary of following any off-site links he posts

After 3.5* tries I got a 1.9ohm coil going on the Protank  Does seem a bit 'airy', may have to block off one of the air intakes. Otherwise seems a nice unit, does have a nice snap crackle pop to it :D.

* First coil was at 2.7 ohms  ; second at 0.2 ohms  couldn't figure out where it was shorting; 2.5th one, I broke a coil leg making the pigtail; 3.5th one came out a bit lower than I was aiming for but wth, it works :D

alrighty den. I will try to remember not to go where his signposts point. LOL I usually am trustful of members links. that might not always be a good idea. LOL

EDIT: Oh now I see what you meant. Well then I will be careful going to places that he points. giggle and I have kind of a quirky sense of humor. lol

and thanks for info. think I will still get it then. :)
