I still prefer dual coil cartos :p
Hi everyone, I popped in a few days ago when Classy invited me to check out Snails, I'm also from the Lurker thread tooo....

CES....would these dual coils that you like be the XL or XXL ones, 2.5 ohm variety, I purchased these from Avid Vaper, and they're brand new, still individually pkgd/sealed. I just didn't care for them, for me, they used a lot more e-liquid, and I thought they ran too warm. But maybe I was doing something wrong too...still new at this.

Anyway, I have 4 of the XL and 3 of the XXL. If so, how could one go about gifting a mis-purchase to another fellow vaper without getting into trouble?? Cuz I have some that need a home, but I don't want to get myself into trouble. If I need to just put them in the PIF, I can do that, but I haven't checked it out yet.

I'm headed out for a bit, but will check back.:)

Hi Tweety! :) Hope it turns out well. I have a good start!

CES...I would....be embarrassed to do that! You are obviously on good terms with the pub...

I've been going to that pub on Thursdays for about 10 years. Same bartender all that time. Ordering pizza regularly is newer, but people have done it for years. They don't have food, and will provide paper plates. That, and the delivery person not only gets a tip, the bartender often gives him a shot

Hi Lori,

I think that what I'm thinking of are usually XL's, hold about 1.5 ml. I tend to like the ones that have two-3 Ohm coils, for a 1.5 Ohm vape. You have to top them off early and often so i either use the clear DCs so i can see when to top off or use the metal ones and put holes in them and use them in a tank. I only use them on plain old ordinary ego-style batteries, nothing about 3.7V.

If you don't like the ones you have, you can PIF, offer them on the classifieds since you're verified, or work out a trade via PM.

I actually felt sorry for him for a while--he tried to be helpful--elsewhere. And he said here that he was disabled... I really don't understand what happens to people--they just snap like that. I've seen it happening before, many times. And you tell them to just shut up and walk away from the keyboard....

If you only knew how many PMs I've sent to different peeps over the years--begging them to just stop! :(

:?: but i always complied, didn't i? :D

Back, all good, his car died  I have 2 kids, one is 28 and the other is about to be 25. They have never really been out on their own for long and in fact, my daughter was married, got a divorce and moved back here. I don't think I've ever been without kids and I would LOVE to know what empty nest feels like. I've had kids living with me for 28 years and I need a break!!!!

Like CES said--you can PIF them or work out a trade via PM if you know somebody who might enjoy them.

My problem with dual coil cartos is that it's really like vaping two--in your case--5Ω coils at the same time. They use up a lot of eliquid (twice as much as you would with single coils) and they drain your battery much faster, but you get the warmth (power) of a 5Ω coil, which is not enough for me. A 5Ω coil on a 3.7v device generates only 2.7 watts--that's pathetic. You need 5 volts to get a 2.5Ω DC carto to deliver 5 watts of power--and you have to make sure that your battery has adequate amp limit. If your battery can't supply the amps, the voltage will go down resulting in an even cooler vape. Not worth it to me. :)

That Ohm's Law is a pain. ;)

Somehow I don't feel so bad now about becoming an empty nester in the fall. ;)
