All these mods that you guys come up with are very impressive. You must get a lot of enjoyment and pleasure out of your new hobby. I know I would if I could do it.

I do have one question though, nothing technical thats for sure, Is it more cost effective to make your own mods or is it for the enjoyment? You must save quite a bit of money by looking at all the examples of mods being made. I have also wondered where the parts come from. I really am seriosly interested.;)

To me vaping and all that goes with it is much more addictive than cigs ever were. I was never on a forum for smoking. Or constantly wishing I could try this out or try that out. Or I wonder if there is a better one or a better e-juice out there. Searching on the internet for new brands and flavors. :p

Sometimes it worries me how addicted I am to this. Give up vaping for cigs, no way. It has become a three fold thing (is there such a word?)
Purchasing the e-cigs or mods, turns into making them, then trying e-liquids turns into DIY e-liquids. The third thing for me is spending more money vaping than smoking. I am going to need a VA to go With AA.
Once an addict always an addict. It just seems to change addictions. Sorry didn.t mean to get deep there. But I speeeend looooots:-x

Well making them is the way to go. There's a guy at Vapeatron makes his for about $4, give or take a quarter.

Personally, I'm making them for both reasons. For the enjoyment, as I love to make things (before this it was headphone amplifiers, iPod battery chargers and lasers). Plus it is cheaper than buying a mod, however I've spent MUCH more money in the long run buying various kits and parts that I could very have easily spent on a mod and been done with it a month ago. Live n learn...

I do enjoy making these things though... but I don't have as much skill as a lot of guys on here with machining tools, etc. So I am having some difficulties making some of the mods I've designed.
