Good question and I can answer this from first hand experience with a friend. OMG he could snore. He use to smoke analogs, was like a 2 pack a day smoker. Then he started vaping. He no longer snores. He attributes it to not smoking analogs any more - so I have to agree with him and say that vaping stopped him from snoring. :)

Yea before my septoplasty(septum straightening) I would snore so loud that my room mate could hear me in his room. It has always been intermitent but now its alot less but still occurs. I am hoping that Vaping can end all snoring completely because I am dealing with daytime vigilance(hard to wake up, tired all day even after a half a pot of coffee no matter how many hours i sleep) i know i dont have sleep apnea because i had a sleep study. so yea thanks for the info.

Let me see...he started vaping a month before me and he crashed at my place numerous times soon after he started vaping. I'd say he probably stopped snoring within the first month if I recall correctly. So yeah, I'd say about a month. I remember the first time he stayed over the next morning I commented that he didn't wake me up with his snoring. LOL! Which he had always done in the past. He just doesn't do it now. Which is really a blessing.

my snoring was so bad that i had developed sleep apnea (partly due to the analogs and partly due to living in a higher altitude than i was used to) when i moved back home, the snoring slacked off some but after i started vaping it has almost completely stopped (unless i'm really tired to the point of walking death) or really sick... but no more sleep apnea problems and even though i stopped using the cpap machine a long time ago (regardless of whether or not i needed it) i have no doubt that it is not needed now at all!!

boy, this is promising, i have always snored to some extent ive been told anyway. the first time i heard i snored with from my ex wife and she told me it was just a slight sound. over the years tit got worse, to the point of apnea, i had a sleep study and got put on the cpap. i was heavier when i took the study and i have since reduced the cpap pressure to almost nothing. it was just to much for me, made my chest hurt after the weight loss.

i left my cpap home over xmas vacation and i was told that i snored on and off without the machine which is a good thing to me. i use to snore so loud that you could hear it on the other side of the house between two closed doors and the hvac running. i have been told that when people walked into a room i was sleeping in their ears would pop from the pressure.. ive woken from a sleep and found ive inhaled my pillow.. trust me i snored. lol..

ive smoked since i was 13 or so, this could be part of it.

i really hope this helps reduce my apnea even more, that would be awesome.

ok, for those who have sleep apnea quitting cigarettes, losing weight, and sleeping on your side could get rid of the sleep apnea. If none of this works surgery, cpap or an oral device may be an option. I had a sleep study done and I was diagnosed with a snoring problem but had 0 apneas. The snoring was causing me to lose sleep. Before the study I was told I had a a deviated septum. I had that repaired via surgery. The surgery was necessary for daily breathing but didn't help my snoring as much as I hoped. Still struggling waking up and feeling tired all the time I have finaly quit analogs and am trying e-cigs.
