I quite like the simple, understated looks. It doesn't look like a teenagers pair of sneakers.

It's not unique by any means, it looks a LOT like the ViciousAnt Variant. But it's a simple design, simple to use, and much smaller than the majority of dual battery temp controlled mods out right now. To me that's much more appealing than a busy looking mod that's far larger than it needs to be.

EXACTLY! Thats the main reason why I'm interested in this device. Looking for a dual battery device that isn't humungous. I'm really looking forward to seeing it in person.

Get a piece of paper and a ruler.

It's 100 x 52 mm.
Or 3.93 x 2.04 inches.

Draw that out on a piece of paper. You may be surprised by how small it is.

It's 25mm thick, only 3mm wider than your average tank. Exactly the same thickness as the old Hana Modz DNA30 box.

Or... this may give you a good idea of the size....

That was exactly what I was thinking.

A USA made chip that measures temperature in Celsius? I'm not convinced the claims are true.

It does both Celsius or Fahrenheit actually. And remember that Celsius is widely used in the scientific community world wide, unlike Fahrenheit. So it wouldn't surprise me at all on something like this to see Celsius only. USA made board or not.

Well, it would be a first if a USA made board didn't use Fahrenheit and would sure surprise me. In fact, it will never happen.

That post was made 2 months ago before anyone had actually seen the mod working. I'm well aware of how it works now, thanks.

Simple designs and basic outer appearance of this device is great it's a sleeper. Just like shoving a small block under the hood of a chevette with a quiet single exhaust with no fancy mods visible all the glory is under the hood and boy did you feel silly when you got left at the line with your sporty looking civic! Snow wolf is a total sleeper and I like that, frills on the outside tells me that under the hood is lacking so it needs to be flashy to get you to buy the junk.

Picked mine up today. I like the look and feel and so far its preforming very well (too early for a critique) Look forward to some TC play in the days to come.

Good to hear.

The one thing I still want to know before getting mine is what the battery life is like. How long does a charge last you and what ohm coil and wattage setting are you using?

The main reason I decided to go with the Snow Wolf instead of the SX Mini is the battery life. I'm not wanting to have to carry spares to work, and hearing a large number of people say they were only getting 6-8 hours of use out of their SX Mini was disappointing to me. I'm hoping that the dual battery will last me through a full day at work at least. (Keep in mind I will not be subohming at work. My boss lets me vape in my office, but he wants me to keep the clouds to a minimum so I'll be using a Nautilus at 15-20 watts at work) The Yihi chips seem to draw an excessive amount of power to just run the chip even when the mod isn't being fired. I'm hoping this chip is more efficient, drawing very little power when the mod is idle.

My SX-M, using the Efest 2500mAh batteries, will last me from about 6:30am to late into the night running the STM with a .5 coil at 25 watts or so. Same with a nickel build. Running low watts, in standard mode, I can get through a solid day easily.

I am digging the SnowWolf though. Who has the scoop on the best price on this mod, in the US? I am seeing the $130 range.

*EDIT* Found it for $106. Pretty sweet price to me!

I've been eyeballing this since it was announced and have been waiting for some reviews. It's a shame that I just picked up a Sigelei 150w and iPV4 a few weeks ago. The key point I like about it is the fact that it lets you build down to 0.05ohm. You may say "why the f$ck would you want to go that low??", but my preferred builds are claptons and fused claptons. MY last fused clapton was a dual core 24ga Nichrome80 with 36ga Nichrome80 around it and it took some major tweaking for my Sigelei 150 to recognize it and fire (which allows builds down to 0.1ohm). With that "overhead" on range, it is exactly what I'm after. Add in the TC function, and it makes both my boxes obsolete in one unit lol.

I wouldn't say that - with Ni200 building down to 0.05 is incredibly useful. It's hard to do dual coils that don't go below 0.10Ω, and ditto it's hard to stay above that with larger gauge wires.
I prefer not to build ni200 coils for TC, I have been using the Smok TCT tank with 0.15ohm ni200 replaceable coils.

The most recent video I watched with someone using it was ohmboyoc on the localvape youtube page building an alien wire dual coil using 3 strands of Anarchist wire and nichrome80 wrap that came in at 0.08 and the Snowwolf fired it just fine.

I just picked one up today, and it works beautifully when you first attach an atomizer. Unfortunately, after mine sleeps with an atomizer attached, it starts burning cotton when I use it after waking it up. After waking, and reducing the temperature setting to 230F, it will produce an acrid burnt taste, while 420F was working beautifully before it went to sleep.
Sadly, my local B&M (Mountain Oak Vapor) sold the last one at the counter next to mine just before the rep agreed to swap my unit. It appears that for the next few days, I will be pulling the battery out every time I wish to use it after it has been sitting idle.
