Something is not right with your kit. The board in the mod is reading that it is too hot. Should not be happening.
Take it back to the place of purchase. Have them test it. Most shops will cover purchases for X number of days on their return policy for manufacturing defects, which it sounds like you have.

I have the same mod. If my coils are too close to the exterior of my atty I get this error. Move your coils closer to your posts and see if it errors. I'm running a .23 build on a Stumpy right now with zero errors. Is the exterior of your atty heating up? I can easily ump up to 60 watts but it will burn this juice. Make sure you have zero shorts or hot legs as well. Make sure you don't have a hint at the slightest short.
