How do you like the 50w snow wolf?

It's nice too. Very well made, and you have to love the wood mods. Its actually 60w post firmware update too. I haven't finished up my review on it yet, but I do like it a lot. Actually my wife is going to end up stealing it from me when I finish the review. Only thing that I didn't like is that the TC only supports Nickel and I'd rather use Titanium if not Stainless Steel in the future.

Can you adjust wattage in temperature mode or does it just fire it at a set wattage then adjust to maintain?
Fires at a set wattage then adjusts to maintain. I'm a mouth to lung hitter and it keeps up with me, so I'd assume that it fires at a very high wattage and adjusts from there.

Just posted a full review on it. Hope you all enjoy SnowWolf 75W Mini 75 watt TC - Velocivaper

I just got the mod and I have a slight issue. Do you notice sometimes when you hit the fire button it doesn't fire? It does this to me every once in a while and always fires on the 2nd press right after. It has happened to me about 5 times out of maybe a few hours of use.

I have been using my SW 75W for the past 24 hours. running the aromamizer on it, using 2 pre-built claption coils - about .2 ohms.

pros - love the compact size, great feel in hand, and buttons are very clicky. Firing this at 60W-75W feels like it delivers more power than similar devices at the same wattage. i also like that i can charge the device without having the remove the battery.

cons - for some reason, my new HE2s didn't work in the mod - it kept overheating the mod and i was continually getting a 'high temperature' error. don't know if they were bad batteries or just a bad connection. but problem went away when i threw in a diff battery. other thing i'm not sure i like is the fact that wattage cannot be adjusted in temp mode. it still delivers a great vape, but just kind of an odd way that it has been designed (or maybe i just haven't figured out how to adjust wattage in temp mode).

overall - i still give this an A. if you love the sw 200, you will love this device even more.

Update. I am getting the high temp error again. Seems to kick in when the battery is low. Maybe this is a 'feature' of this device but I have never had an issue like this on other mods. Probably due to having only one battery and trying to vape .2 ohm. But if this is working as intended, it is a bit of a nuisance.

Mine was also scratched OOB.

BTW - I retract my earlier grade of "A" and give this one a "C-" now. My experience over the past week -- vaping with a Ni coil is very very anemic compared to other devices (I am using Starre Pro with Ni). The SW 75W automatically adjusts wattage for you based on a set temperature. IMO, this is a MAJOR flaw/issue for me -- I want the flexibility to adjust both temp and wattage. I don't know if that "feature" is causing the vape to be anemic, but I am not using the 75W any longer for vaping Ni coil, just not enough umphh for me.

Also, I have given up on using this device on my Aromamizer .2 dual clapton build. I continue to get HIGH TEMPERATURE errors after only a few puffs (a sign of the chip overheating, I guess). Asmodus tells me that is what I should expect as this is a single battery setup, but sorry, I don't get that kind of experience with other mods including the IPV D2.

@Wharf Rat - what tank setup do you have on it right now with what ohms? And what battery are you running? Have you gotten any HIGH TEMPERATURE issues?

Nothing yet. No warnings. .21, dual coils, 26Ti, 11/10, 2mmID on a BillowV2. Vaping at 460F, started at 400 and worked my way up. Not 100% I'm in TC mode. Have not really felt any temp idling. I slightly spaced the coils. The vape is fairly cool and starts out tasty then flavor backs off a little. Clouds are generous using high VG juice.
I have an H2 in it. After most of today I am down to about a quarter battery bar left.
Your high temperature warning is part of system protection. It kicks in >75C. My guess is a circuit board issue.
Low battery warning turns on when voltage is <2.95V.

Thanks. What i'm really looking for is someone who can test out a dual coil .2 ohm kanthal in this puppy to see if there any issues with getting the high temp error. right now, asmodus is telling me that the device is working as designed, but not being able to support a .2 ohm setup without going into high temp just doesn't seem right to me.

Why are you doing such a low kanthal build? On a 2.5mmID with 26g duals thats like a 3/2 wrap. That thing is a scorcher. No wonder its erroring the mod. You are losing all the flavorful surface area as well. Not telling you your business but thats a low K1 build. The spec for atomizer ohm range is .05-2.5ohms so it has to be your board. That's for Kanthal, NI200 and Ti.

I have the same problem, regardless of the battery...

I am running a dual 6 wrap 24 gauge royal wire build that is resting at about 0.11

Works great for 3-4 puffs, then high temp warning.

I also have a D2 and with the same rda and same battery, this NEVER happens
