Check out some reviews on the wolf. I was being harsh and grumpy but it does have issues. The temp protection is seriously fubared imho. It also doesn't really do 200w in the accepted sense. Pulse delivery above 150 which I would find very annoying. The battery cover sits tight but moves around if you push it. Probs not a big deal though. It's not for me but people seem to like it.

I have the Snow Wolf and there are some flaws as usual but I never go higher then 100 watts. Overall it's a good mod. I will be putting my order in for the Cloudmaker DNA200 as soon as I read up a little more aBout them and their modular design which in my opinion seems like good idea.

one is a pice of cr@p and others are (will be) fantastic TP devices...how about that??

So which if the DNA mods is crap. I know that Evolv had a lot of problems getting their screens to work right but I would have thought they could have fixed that by now.

Yeah, the SnowWolf pulses above 150W. One needs only look at the amp draw above 150W to see why. If you think that's a problem then you either don't know anything about battery safety or your just dying to blow your fingers off. As far as the temperature protection goes, it works fantastic. Unlike you I actually have one and have first hand experience with it rather than simply being a fanboy who talks out his backside. The one thing that is different about the SnowWolf is it doesn't use Joules, it uses Watts, so you need to make sure your max wattage is set low enough that you're not overheating the coil between resistance samples or the mod will cut the power to the coil. If the mod detects a temp that is much higher than your setting it shuts off power to the atty. This is no different from the DNA40s temperature control warning, the only difference is the SnowWolf just cuts power to the atty and doesn't display a warning. If you run into a case where it cuts power to the atty entirely simply lower your wattage setting. It doesn't rattlesnake the temperature control like the Yihi chips do.

i dont understand why people keep complaining about 150+w on the snowwolf, its a dual18650 device you are not going to get 200 watts out of a dual 18650 device. Most people who buy the snowwolf dont buy it to vape at 200watts but its nice to have. If people wanted actual 200 watt mods youd have to go with giant 26650 mods, or huge triple 18650 mods, there is one alternative, LiPo batteries.

This is why DNA200 devices are going LiPo batteries (which I am against using) to produce their 200watts of power. For a dual 18650 device the snowwolf is fantastic at the price point is very nice, the temp control also works way better than my DNA40 ever did in temp control.

then why call it a 200W device???????????? That is why people are complaining right. It is total BS. It is not possible to extract 200W from 2x18650s without a liberal sprinkling of electronic chicanery. And the pulsing is ridiculous, its like a 1 sec duty cycle...

nah people are complaining just because they want to complain. The percentage of people who actually buy mods to vape at 200watts is an extreme minority. If you are a 200w vaper then by all means, id understand why youd complain, sad thing is the majority of people who complain that it is not a true 200watt device are complaining about about something that doesn't even effect them because they dont vape at 200watts to begin with. Just because they call it a 200watt mod and it doesnt deliver a 'true' 200watts doesnt make it crap. Ignoring that, call it a 150watt mod, dual 18650 box mod with 70watt temp control at a 90-120$ price point, and it STILL blows the competition out of the water. The people who complain or talk down on the snowwolf because its not a true 200watt mod obviously have never owned one, because there truly is only one minor downfall to it and you obviously wouldnt know because you didnt even mention it and are just jumping on the hate bandwagon of heresay and other peoples opinions (watch a youtube video and now its your opinion , i know exactly where you got your 'rattly battery cover' shpeel from). How about having your own opinion for once? Oh wait you cant because you dont have a snowwolf.

are you totally insane mate? I tried to be humble here even sent you a pm which you sh@t on...oh well...cant arugue with plebs...

ps.its only a battery...jeez...

its not a battery its a mod. And in the same PM you sent me where you said "you would withold your opinion because you dont have a snowwolf" you say in the same PM that yihi/evolv do TC better than the snowwolf. What's the point of saying you would withhold your opinion, then giving the same opinion in the same PM (which you rudely posted in this thread btw without any personal experience with the mod) in the same PM? rofl

"dont want a ruck over this. I deleted the original post. I was having a bad day. I still think the evolv/yihi approaches to TP are superior but given that I dont have a SW as you say, I'll wait for a proper review and some scope data before having an opinion!"

yeah, and i dont care about fake people who try to be 'genuinely humble'. usually when you want to wait to have an opinion, you dont give an opinion. try harder next time. You're views are obviously bias and skewed based on the 'youtube videos' and other peoples opinions you read/watch.
