I have a Hotcog DX200 that comes standard with a 900mah 3s Lipo. I just recently received the 2 x 18650 battery compartment. They also have a 1300mah 3s Lipo as an accessory. The different battery compartments just snap on and off with no re-wiring needed.

I've seen pictures of the CMT Whiteout and the only extra room for a bigger Lipo is at the bottom (it's tight sided to side). There does seem too be quite a bit of wasted space in the bottom though. It's to big and clunky for my tastes. I've yet to see many people who are happy with it. Good Luck!

Cheers,
Steve

What is a Hotcog DX200? Sounds like a easier mod to customize.
It's a DNA200 mod. Here's a link if you are interested.

Here's a video showing the different batteries.

Ok, so I had a great talk with Aaron at CMT. I now understand the hard work that I failed to see throughout this whole process.

Bravo to you. Though I think the final is far short of the vision, people like you may help them deliver an amazing mod in the future.

I wish I could talk to Aaron at CMT or whoever is management...Even though I didn't buy the mod I would like to cuss him out for everyone who lost money or got a S*** quality mod just because he deserves it and so does SMOG. Sorry but the wait time, bad quality control, SMOG, the mod not looking like it was supposed to and the silence while people complained deserves a good a** chewing or kicking. It doesn't matter which one. The best way for this company to step up is for someone to but some boots to a**es

Sounds like I'm in the minority being that I actually really like my Whiteout SX. Super glad I chose SX over DNA with most of the issues seeming to come from Whiteout DNA owners. Mine was in the first batch shipped out. The only issue I've had with it was the sled was mounted a touch too high in my opinion, didn't leave much room for the wire from the 510 to move if I put an atty on with a seriously long positive pin. I loosened the screws/nuts and moved it down slightly. I've swapped the 510 to the other side and then swapped it back because I like the original placement. I've changed the panels to red.

The constant delays and drama with smog did seriously piss me off, but I'm happy with it now that it's here. When the smog debacle was in its early stages I was reading the smog sub reddit seriously thinking I had seen this before (AFPV anyone?) and was worried the whole thing wasn't real. That I would be chalking Cloudmaker up as a 200$ lesson not to preorder.

HI, I purchased this mod and while it looks Ok on the outside the inside is another matter. This is the email I sent them.

Thanks, Roger

After updating them they now seem to be working OK, but looking inside the case I noticed the connector that is attached to the usb port inside the case is tilted at about 80 degrees when it ought to be 90. That connection is tight up against the battery allowing no room for battery expansion. I would have thought an L shape bracket would have been more suitable for that situation. I think the time taken in planning and designing this should have resulted in perfection in relation to the price compared to other top models. It works, but the impression whiteout gave of producing a top of the range model has severely dented its reputation. It works ok but I’m not 100% satisfied with the finished product. My intention is not meant to be rude but to give my own personal opinion. Thanks.
On reflection they have corrected the usb charger from sticking out and jammed it up against the battery could this cause a potential problem in the future? It seems they are blaming the factory but they could have rejected the finished product if it was not up to the standard they specified! and this is the product they produce by vapors for vapors.

Bankruptcy! Serves them right. I feel bad for vendors or people that did not get product. For a mod that was future proof it didn't even make it a year on the market. I guess what they meant is it won't be around in the future  Perhaps they should have made it idiot proof instead.
