I'm not sticking up for them, I don't have one so I don't have a horse in this race. As to why so much room is on the bottom, this is what was posted on another site:I just got my Whiteout. First let me say I don't give a whit about mismatched panel sizes, or oversize, excessively protruding buttons (particularly the up and down buttons) or about the slightly protruding USB connector.
I am curious as to why anyone would route the output wire from the board to the positive 510 connection twice the full length of the device before it connects at it's intended endpoint.
What I do care about most is that there is a HUGE amount of empty interior volume (which could have been used for a much bigger battery (but wasn't)....and that the width of the thing is such that it's actually painful to hold it in one hand while vaping.
That in effect means that it's one of the first mods that requires two hands to hold it comfortably during it's intended use. I guess that could be called an innovation if one were inclined to give credit where credit is clearly not due.
