Not really a lot you can say about dripping really. Some like it, some don't. I actually don't like dripping that much while on the road, or in public. I've got cartos to last me for a long time for that. E2s are great for getting a good clean flavor like you get when you drip, so I may not be dripping for much longer. The 2.5s are a little too hot for me on a 5v though, so I'll be dripping until I find an ohm rating that works better for that.

As for making your own flavors . . . I've made a couple at GV that really suck. Let's just say that 20% is too much red pepper! I don't really care for the taste of whatever they are using for the pepper though, so maybe it's not my fault after all. Or, maybe I just have to let it steep longer.

And, as for wine . . . I'm OK with sangria, but I'm not much of a red wine fan. Most are too dry for me, I like sweet. I like a Pinot Noir, but I'm more of a Gewurztraminer or Riesling kind of guy, that is, if there's no rum around. Maybe a good Boone's or Mad Dog a few years back, LOL.

LOL Yeeeesh anything with red pepper is SCARY! it's my unfortunate luck to be allergic to spices and anything peppery, especially garlic.

<_< I will say this about dripping... I really REALLY love the different styles and look to drip tips. Omigod they make carts look SO LAME...

Hey, those flat-tip carts can look pretty sweet. Especially the 901's. The flat 901 carts also seem to work better for me than 510 carts ever have. But me and carts have never really gotten along...

Wait, the flat whistle-tip ones, like the ones found on Black and Milds? Yeah I have two of them, and I love them, too

I hope they'll do different designs and colors, though, that would be awesome :)

In my personal opinion, dripping is better, both because of flavour, TH and convenience. Carts or cartos are more convenient once they are 'on', but having to deal with them is what makes dripping less of a pain. But then again, driving or some other circumstances may make dripping a bit of a hassle. I think it is a matter of choice and preference; once man's meat...

I love dripping. Sure it's a little bit more hassle, but so is modifying regular cartridges with foam and straws to try to get better results. Cartomizers are a nice idea but I hate the soft draw I get off of them, and the mega cartomizers I was using all started tasting burnt after a few days despite being more than adequately filled with juice. All methods come with their own unique hassles and drawbacks, so I instead choose to weigh the benefits. In my experience, dripping far surpasses all other methods for vapor and flavor. It's almost an entirely different experience because of the increased intensity. If I wanted to eliminate the little bit of hassle with dripping, I could get a juice-fed mod, but it's not a big enough deal to warrant another purchase right now. Oh, and I'm cheap, so dripping also entails the least purchasing of replacement parts, filler materials, etc etc.

Don't cross dripping off your list until you try it with a nice LR atty like a Cisco 306.

Heheh maybe I'll use LR atty, but right now it's not an option... I've spent well over enough money for vaping equipment.

That and I pre-cut my filler-mod cones so I'm all set for a while with that.

:) Not to say that trying to drip wasn't cool, I did like it :) It's cool to know the different vaping methods :D :vapor:

Yup, dripping with a good LR is what got me. ;)

Regular atties were always too soft for me. That's why I stuck to cartos for so long.

But I really don't like LR 901's, which is the first LR I tried. The regular 901 is way, way too gentle for me, but it seems like with the LR they over-compensated somehow. It has this acidic undertone to me that I could just never get over.

I wrote off LR's for a long time. Finally I lost it with having to always buy more and more cartomizers. I tried to go to dripping on regular atties, but it just wasn't satisfying. Where's my throat hit, man!?

So I sucked it up and tried LR 510's. There was still a bit of that acidic taste, but it wasn't nearly as bad. I just wound up changing the kind of juices I put in it, because I was so done with cartos and I just couldn't do regular atties.

I was pretty happy with the LR 510's. It bakes the crap out of some flavors I like, but oh well. Others taste great. I figured that was the best I was going to do.

Then I tried an LR 306 (Joye, not Cisco - though I want to try that next!)

The regular 306 had always been my favorite regular atty. Awesome taste like a 901 with the hit and vapor of a 510.

The LR was the same way for me. Finally I found an LR atty without that acidic taste, and juices seem to hold up better in it.

I will say I think it is *slightly* gentler than the LR 510, but not by a lot. It's also slightly more fiddly to get on and off, but oh well.

So now I use LR 306's and 510's. They both have strengths and weaknesses.

A good LR is what really made me give dripping an honest shot, and a *great* LR is what keeps me doing it.

To the ones 'carts improve TH'... You are wrong... I mean, maybe it is so in your case, but just circumstancially. If TH, vapor or whatever are better with carts, it is because you are not dripping properly............! Trust me, I used to think that way...!

 My dad recently told me I'm the "statistic breaker" when it comes to stuff~ This made me smile :) 'Tis true, I didn't get as much of a throat hit dripping than I did with my carts. But it wasn't an astounding difference to be honest.

If the TH dripping is inferior to cart-vaping then, it is most likely that is due to the fact the e-liquid being dripped is more than the amount which the core-fibers can take. Sometimes 'half a drop' makes that difference.

Another problem is that of the actual amount of liquid in one drop... which is surely to vary so that is very ambiguous leading to people who take on dripping go for two super-bigger drops which are maybe three or four or even five 'regular' drops... Meaning, the very word 'drop' is understood as an universal entry which amount is a constant, but it is misleading...
That is the problem in most cases...
My guess is that it is certainly yours Raynen... you have not flooded entirely yet 'over-dripped' your atty. Hence the lack of TH.
If done correctly, when dripping TH should be massive compared to carts...
