I noticed starting a few days ago that my vaping really does something strange to my throat with every drag now. Hard to explain, but it kinda makes it feel dry and like I need to clear my throat. Almost brings on coughing. It feels fine when I'm not vaping. I've tried several different combos of juice and they all deliver the same result. I guess my question is, is this normal, and will it pass at all? I drink water like mad too. I"m really quite done with analogs, I have no desire to go back to them so I hope this is temporary.

Could be the flavors?

I can't vape cinnamon, I recently discovered. Makes my throat feel 'closed' up and is uncomfortable to me. Takes over an hour and a lot of water/fluids to get rid of that feeling.

Do you drink anything other than water? Maybe drinking something hot - like tea - might help? Maybe some carbonation might 'cut' this feeling? Just spitballin here...

Hmm, thanks everyone. I think I'll try to experiment with VG. I got a 6oz. bottle from walmart so I should have plenty to mess around with. Also, the nicotine level I'm currently using is 24mg. I know that's reduced slightly by adding VG to it, so what are some suggestions for cutting. I apologize if this is covered elsewhere in the forums. I am reading over lots of information though. Some of it (especially the mod sections) is quite fascinating.

It's a lot easier if you have an empty squeeze bottle to use: sometimes you can get one at a craft store, looks like a visine bottle or something. Of course you can usually order them from ejuice suppliers.

Then it's basic math 1part 24mg flavored ejuice to 1part plain VG = 12mg ejuice

or 2 parts 24mg flavored ejuice and 1 part plain VG = 16mg ejuice

BUT the caution with diluting your juice this way is that in addition to lowering the nicotine mg's you'll also lower the flavoring by half (or third or whatever). Some flavors hold up ok and some flavors disappear.

The other way to do it is mix it in the device you are going to use it in: 2 drops 24mg ejuice+ 1drop VG = 3 drops 16mg ejuice
