So are all the parts interchangable?

I just ordered an: eGo-C Stardust Starter Kit with Long Wicks & 3X10ml bottles of e-liquid. - 650mAh - Stainless

Now I see all the cool stuff you can do with the mods and stuff, question for the Vets, do most of the parts work together? Like when I want a bigger battery or some cool light up clear tanks and stuff will what I just bought be usless?

thanks

You will have 510 and eGo threading that is compatible with pretty much all of the major clearo tanks. A new battery as you upgrade should often be at least 510 threaded and will accept a 510 to eGo adapter to make everything you have will work together and is interchangeable.

PS- You probably want to skip the CE style clearos with LEDs - just overpriced cheap O tanks with an LED in them. :)

Mods - and what you use with them, and eGo batteries - and what you use with them, are very much two different things in the vaping world. There isn't a lot you can use on an eGo battery that you would want to use on a mod, and there isn't much designed for a mod that you would dare use on an eGo battery.

It's a good price. The eGo batts are disposable with eGo and 510 threading- the most common of threading.

The eGo batts are good for about 250- 300 recharges before they need to be replaced.
The Stardust also known as the CE4 is disposable. With maintenance it can last 2-4 weeks.
Washing cleans the tank, wick and dry burning turns the juice gunk on the head (coil+ wick) into ash. You'll know it needs cleaning when the vape tastes harsh and/ or fresh juice goes dark in the tank.
Here's a vid about washing and dry burning. I do not touch the coil with a Q Tip as it may dislodge and short out. After dry burn rinse ash from coil.

All clearos are more or less disposable. In some of them (not the stardust/ce4) you can change the coil - which you will have to do every 1-4 weeks, depending on your usage - but the tank itself will eventually break or become unusable in some other way. More advanced rebuildable atomizers (RBA for short) are built to last but they are also much more expensive and require you to know how to build your own coils etc.

The ego batteries should last up to a year (though with wear they might be spent sooner). In mods you you use replaceable rechargeable batteries, but even then you'll have to get new batteries after 300-500 charges. That's just the way it is with rechargeable batteries.
