I started vaping about 5 months ago...started with v2 and almost immediately upgraded to a vision spinner. I now have a new groove mod that is also variable voltage and variable wattage. I have no problem with the voltage but cannot for the life of me figure out what wattage to set it on. I've done searches and looked at numerous charts...still don't get it. Can anyone please give some idea of what wattage to use with what volts.

This is a box mod that you can set the volts from 3 to 6 volts and the wattage from 3 to 15 watts. With my spinner I only had voltage to deal with...that's why I'm so confused.
I've seen the charts before but they all seem to be discussing voltage not how much wattage you need to use with what volt.

On my eVic VV and VW are options. You either use one or the other.
Using VW, at least on my device, keeps the same wattage even if you change attomizers. The volts change to maintain that wattage.
Example.
Cartotank
1.5 ohms 3.54 volts 8.4 watts
Switch to EVOD
2.6 ohms 4.67 volts 8.4 watts
Switch to ProTank
1.9 ohms 3.99 volts 8.4 watts.
With VV you would need to change the volts yourself.
In the above example my device is set to VW and I have it set at 8.4 watts.
As always, if I'm wrong please correct me.

Volts comes from the battery.
Ohms is the resistance of the juice delivery device (holds and vaporizes the juice)
Use the chart below to figure out wattage by entering ohms and volts. Most like to vape at 7- 9.5 watts. I enjoy 8.5 watts.

When you use vv, it doesn't matter what resistance you put on it, it will always be that voltage going to it. If you use vw, you will have a different voltage going to the coil depending on the resistance of the coil. So, if you use a1.8 ohm atty and set it to 7 watts it will be about 3.5ish volts. Leave it at 7 watts and put a 2.8 ohm atty on there and it will adjust the voltage to 4.4ish volts. VW is like a set it and forget it setting. But you can dial it in so it's best for you. Don't worry about the numbers too much. I've got a 2.3 ohm cool at 10 watts and it's prefect for me.
I must be doing something wrong. I have the wattage set at 5 and the voltage set at 4.1. If I set either setting any higher it makes the juice taste burnt.
