So dissapointing

Ordered my very first mod, a VAMO. I was stalking the postman, and so excited when it finally arrived. Charged up the batts, put 1 in and turned it on, played with the voltage, the wattage, go to take a vape, and boom, it shuts off. It shuts off every time I hit the fire button. So I try to put 2 18350s in and discovered, the batteries extend past the tube so far it's impossible to put the cap on. So either I have deformed batteries or a defective VAMO.

I know these things happen, and the seller is working with me to get a replacement; but it's just such a buzz kill. Guess I'll keep on vaping the eGo spinner until i get it

The shut off thing is an odd issue, haven't heard that one before. As far as the length of batteries, I found out quickly that I had to get flat tops to stack 350s. Sorry you had issues but at least the vendor is working with you, I know a lot of people who got vamos from shady places and didnt get any help after arriving DoA

Funny you say that, b/c I was about to get a cheapo one from China, then I decided to buy in the US and from someone on the forums, that way I would be supporting and I would have customer service just in case. Hmm I'm glad you told me about those flat topped batteries, perhaps I should get some and try it before sending back the VAMO.

Send it back for replacement before getting the flat top batteries. Sounds like yours might have some internal issue. It should work fine with 1 button top 18350. I use my Vamo in 18350 mode only. I never stack, find that the 18350 single battery gives me plenty of vape time.

It's possible it could be shutting down if you have too low of a resistance delivery device for the voltage you have set on the device.

Yea to clarify, I use mine mostly in 350 mode and a single 350 button top works just fine. It's only stacking button tops that doesn't work for me. I'm out of town right now and don't have my extension tubes or I'd show you

Ok thanks for the tips. I did try it at the lowest voltage possible too and it still shut off. I'll send the device back first. I'm sure in the long run anyway I'll use the batteries.

What resistance?
Were you trying to fire off (1) 18350?
What Brand/Type Battery?

May be that there is nothing wrong with the Vamo. Do you bave a charged 18650 to test with?

What kind of batteries you use. My 18350 don't seem to last long at all.

I'm using EFest 18350 800mah. They last me about 8 hours or so. 1 lasts most of a day for me. On a bad day when I vape more it might take 2 to get through a day.
