That's the thing -- vaping makes quitting smoking so (comparatively) easy, it's very easy to overlook that one is in fact making a HUGE change to a very large part of one's life and health; simply switching vaping for smoking is a great thing, but some other lifestyle changes may, probably will, be required -- which is actually a wonderful thing, as it means that the healthful change is not just one specific, limited thing, but one's ENTIRE lifestyle. Embrace it!

You missed your calling, Andria. You should have been a preacher :) Unless you are a preacher, of course...

No, but I've been preaching about healthful living to pretty much anyone who'd hold still long enough, for years now. :D Finally I've made this ENORMOUS improvement in my own, just by switching to vaping. But it has required several other changes, in order to be comfortable. I'm probably healthier now than at any time since I was 14 yrs old.

The bleeding gums is a side effect of quitting smoking. From what I understand, smoking will cause your gums to recede and once you quit, the gums begin to heal, so that means there is more blood flow to it. The fact that vaping dries out your mouth doesn't exactly help and it makes your gums more prone to bleeding when brushing as well. What does help is to brush regularly.

Thanks! I brush twice a day. :) good to know it's at least better! I noticed my sense of smell come back. :)

I have vaped for several years now.
Started with egos at 18mg in those junky little tube atomizers. (Oh. ... The horror!)
Now I usually drip, at around 4mg.
It gets so much better!
I have not had a cigarette in 2.7 years.
And I can honestly say I do not want one.
my lungs concur.
Now my vape?
I'll keep that.
