Been running around youtube a lot lately, and it seems like these guys are getting people to post videos of how their model is the best thing ever. Being the skeptic I am (and rabid 510 lover), I've been doing my best to give them a hard time. ;)

Someone claimed that it's actually made in the US though, which got me thinking. Are there actually any brands that are truly constructed here in the US? There weren't a few months ago when I was most active here, but then again I hadn't heard of this company until a week or two ago. It becomes even more suspicious because it looks to be a 4081, which (afaik) are a chinese design.

Dunno, starting to get annoyed with all the hyping of particular brands that all share the same damn model which really, compared to the 510 or any of the more common models used on this board, are not that great.

There are some e-cigs that are made in the U.S., but they're mods. The Precise, the GLV, wetboxes, ect...all U.S. made. I don't know of any non-mods that are truly made here. I could be wrong.

A lot of these e-cig companies are drawing in a lot of customers (suckers) by telling them one carto equals a pack of cigs, that they're made in America and that they use a special process to atomize the juice by friction. These are just things I've seen on the newbie threads and it makes me sick.

That's the impression I was under as well. I knew about the mods, but yah, in all my time with it I've never actually seen a made in the USA standard model either...

Really sucks that they get away with those lies... perhaps soon we'll find a way to push the liars out with the honest and good products.
