So how bad are the Kamry kit's batteries?

So, having seen the reaction of people towards them in other threads, I'm curious as to how bad they are and if I shouldn't be using the 2 that I have. Now mine "say" they are IMR, the 18650 says 2000mah 3.7, and the 18350 claims to be 900mah, however I'm rather skeptical of this being that I've yet to see any 350 IMR rated at more than 800.

Has anyone had any significant problems with them?

Personally, I haven't built a coil lower than 1.8 (made it today) But chances are I'm probably going to creep closer and closer to sub ohm as time goes on. I have a efest 18500 and a 18350 as well. I just have to wonder at what point I should stop using the Kamry's altogether (or maybe repurpose for a flashlight)?

I have the same kit you bought, after reading your other thread I know what your talking about. Just didn't want to post cause everyone saying throw them in the garbage lol. These batteries are absolutely fine for coils 2ohm and up. I've been using mine for 2 months now and they perform fine on my 2.4ohm coils. I do however always use the battery fuse with them. I also have an AW "best batt IMO" that. I use in rotation with the generics. They're definitely not worthless but If you already have some efest batts use those if going under 2ohm.

Edit: sorry thought I just read another thread by you but it was someone who just ordered a k101 kit.

The problem with those batteries is we have no idea what the hell they are. Other than the obvious: They are some kind of lithium, and they have an alleged mAh capacity you can't find any real information about them, most importantly their maximum discharge rate. If you guys are staying in that 1.8 ohm or higher range you are probably ok - but "probably" is the best we can give for an unknown battery. Sub ohming any battery with unknown specifications is asking for trouble.

Your whole experience - on many levels - with a mech mod is built around your choice of battery. It's a hella lot better to go choose one you can actually get the specs on than play crap shoot with a mystery battery.

Said it before - it would be a lot better if they just left those batteries and that charger out of the package.
