So how'd I do?

So I just started building my own coils about a week ago and after watching TONS of videos on it, I tried it... Which IMO I think I did a good job for a beginner.
Heres the set up I have. A Nemesis Clone with a Patriot rda Clone with 24g kanthal and cotton. Dual coil build.



So how'd I do?

(I should also mention I am using a 80% PG, 20% VG eliquid)

Looks like you did much better that I did when I first started. You might consider using rayon as I have gotten away from cotton and have found rayon superior (in my experience) to cotton.

I had a look at it and I'll definitely consider using it. I'll probably buy some once my 240 balls of organic cotton run out lol

It looks like there is a stray piece of wire hanging off the center post in the 2nd picture. If it is, it should be trimmed so it doesn't short to the cap.

Nice looking coils for a first go.

1.02 ohms with a Sony VTC4 18650.

It looks like there is a stray piece of wire hanging off the center post in the 2nd picture. If it is, it should be trimmed so it doesn't short to the cap.

Just a wire that's bent out a bit, It's cut pretty short, just bent out at an angle away from the posts and coils. So it's all good.

Nice Job, pics are a bit dark but looks like you are getting what you're looking for. As far as the one poster suggesting rayon, I haven't tried it, though I will now, but I can't help to think that if I got low on liquid and burned the wick I think I'd rather inhale burnt cotton than synthetic material

that's what I was thinking as well.
