Once again, the mail-person stalking will commence....I cannot wait to receive my HHV order. I got Legend, Shadow, Dark Horse, Crackberry (I love blackberry so much!) Vanilla Dream, and Serendipity, along with an atty to drip 'em all. Patience, grasshoppa. I hear they're inundated with orders as of late. It will teach me patience in the steeping of such precious juice. I hope.

HHV is pretty much our go to vendor. Ms. G is a devoted fan of Pirates Booty and Dragons Fire. Me, well I haven't settled. I always get Sweet Swish (not mentioned often around here), and Georgia Peach Tobacco (better when spiked with a little of one of the tobacco flavors). Legend, Huntsman, Shadow are around for those tobacco cravings and I like Huntsman the best I think. All of them are better to me when I cut them a little with some unflavored juice. I don't like sludge at all and Heavenly is too sweet for me. I just got Carmel Apple Tobacco in my last shipment so I'm withholding judgment. (OK I did sample a few drops and it's really deep and rich)

Oh I forgot crackberry...tried it once and liked it a lot...got to order in again.

I like them. Gandalf more then gollum. Which is what I expected.

To me gollum tastes of dark honey with hints of raisin/figs. Not really my thing.

Gandalf (legend whatever) Tastes like a high quality version of the juice that was in the first ever ecig disposable I got. Less peppery, but I do see how some pallets would say perfumy. My pallet dose not read it as perfumy so... I would call that aspect more of an earthyness. More simplex then what I imagined. But still really good. I can see why this juice has a big following. I would say it tastes like a blonde (light colored) pipe tobacco with very subtle hints of other things such as earthiness and and smokyness.

My husband hated it. Not his thing at all. That just goes to show how different our pallets can be. And I can see why some would love it and some hate it. Taste is very subjective. Myself I find it on the good to higher end of tobaccos... I can vape it and it is quite pleasant and enjoyable to me. Just not my fave. I think I like my VR applwood and KY4 over this one. But they are very different in body and taste. There is more of a complex rich feel and taste to VR where I get Gandalf as more of a straight up pipe tobacco that is more dry/smokey rather then sweet. None the less It is good and I think I would actually crave this from time to time. Enough so that I would have a medium bottle steeping in wait for just such an occasion. It didn't turn me into a die hard HHV fan. But I will be buying it again and that says something about this juice.

I am not sure when I got these but I think they have steeped at least 7-10 days. People say the flavor deepens with more steeping. So I will not vape this whole bottle just yet.

When I heard perfumy from Phil Busardo I steered clear from Gandalf, and instead ordered Shadowfax. It's more complex (I'm taste neutral, all I taste is sweet and bitter) but sweet, very complex, very satisfying, but also heavy for this hot weather (summer down here). Maybe I'll order a small bottle of Gandalf to try. I also bought Georgia peach tobacco, but it's too light and doesn't produce enough vapor (maybe it needs a little more VG). The great surprise was Angel's kiss. Banana and something else, sweet but light! I love the vapor they produce on the T3!

OMG I can not picture vaping HHV before it's at least a month old. Just seams to violate the laws to me. I just got a pattern down that works and can't deviate from it yet. But then I've planned ahead. 48 hrs, caps and droppers off. then at least 4 weeks in soitarie confinment. Then they may be allowed to join the rest of the world. (I found that Pirates Booty takes at least 4 weeks to start to taste like I want it to. But OMG how good it can be. Giggles, excuse me while I sob a bit.

Tnt, I am definitely in a minority, but I enjoy every HHV flavor both straight out of the mailbox AND after it has aged. Thank goodness, it makes life so much easier!

If you do decide to order from HHV again I would recommend Pirates Booty and Dragon's Fire. Those tend to be the sweetest and richest of the tobaccos. If you want to try something really different, head over to Ahlusion and start with the non-aromatic blend tobaccos. Smooth Criminal and Vecchio would suit your palate. When you're ready for the stronger stuff move to the aromatics. Happy hunting. ;)

I am quite fond of tobacco flavors and am interested in what you might advise for the aromatic stuff. When you say strong do you mean flavor-wise or aroma ? Im on Ahlusions site now

mariah, don't you think "Sludge" is an appropriate new name for Gollum? That juice has a legion of fans, but I swear I don't get why. :)

After tasting it... yes! lol Nah... I can see people liking it. Just not my thing. I think Sludge has a certain ring to it.

I will have to put those on my list. Thank you!

Oh sowwee.

I liked georgia peach at the beggining, but the tobacco in it is too light. If you want a satisfying tobacco try Shadowfax. Maybe I'll let it steep and see what happens. I'm sort of afraid since it's summer and temps are in the high 90s... Half the bottle will evaporate!

Can that be done while in the fridge? This whole steeping business gives me the creeps. Keeping the dropper off, any bug can go die in there, not to mention that PG will evaporate... I'd rather confine it to the bottom of my fridge, in the veggie compartment, protected from light and heat.
