i frequently get a burnt taste and i'm a wet nazi when it comes to keeping it filled. so, what's happening? i came up with a theory and i want to know if i'm correct. i think the juice is getting in the tube somehow and coming into direct contact with the coil which immediately burns into a char. after vaping a while, the burnt taste goes away, i'm thinking because the coil is slowly burning off the char( much like the dry burn method we all used to clean our attys). i'm playing "teacher" to my brother and my sister accross the country and i want to help them(as well as myself). i even made a youtube video to clarify the problem.

so, what i want to know:

am i correct?

tip on how to avoid the problem

thanks in advance

Not Juvenile. Great you're helping your family! More info would've been helpful- OHM of carto, type of carto, what voltage you're vaping at.

If they're Smoktech 1.7's, I've had the same issue and after 3 separate occasions trying, finally gave up on the product and stuck with Boge 2.0's. I've only ever got 4 bad Boges in 2 yrs.

Could be too much VG and not flowing well. Could be vaping too fast. Too high voltage vs. too low OHMs on the carto.

Boge had a long bad run of cartos last year- using any of them?
