Well RIP little guy. Some of you may remember a thread I started the other day about my subtank mini jumping ohms. After rebuilding coils, cleaning connections, and trying everything in the book I got so frustrated I went out and bought a pack of occ coils.
Well I found my problem. Apparently my machining inside the base has become stripped. I realized this when I went to put in the occ coil and went to tighten it, only to find out that right as it became tightened it would restart it's revolution. I've somehow never noticed this, but I went and put on my rba and, same thing.
So no coils or base will ever become as tight as it needs, thus missing connections and jumping ohms. Problem solved!
So for all those who has a STM, be weary of tightening down your coils, or rba base too tight. As this is probably all my fault, because I love to ensure a snug fit.
