I own 2 MVP 2s. A mini Provari .and a VTR , plus a couple of itaste vv v3
So I have come to the conclusion that maybe due to my lifestyle I prefer the vape of the MVP over the Provari
plus the fact that i dont have to worry about changing or charging batteries i did have the extension to make the mini hold a 18490
but I still dont think the 18490 lasts all that long I do work long hours so the MVP serves me better plus I think the MVP is more pocket friendly than the mini provari with the extension I guess my only question is does anyone think that the mvp vapes as good as the provari ?
thanks for reading take care all

I've never tried the mvp but almost always hear good things about it. Agree that the 490 batteries don't last long enough - seems like I'm always charging batteries!! Yes, I can see where the mvp would be pocket friendly for you, and also how it has advantages over other PVs. Whatever works for each person is the right thing!!

i think the inboard charging is what does it for the mvp, plug it in when you go to bed and pick it up in the morning, no batteries to change or monitor. ive got an mvp and love it, waiting to get the new e-mech in at my local b&m but thats one of my shopping requirements, any mod i get has to be capable of charging the battery by just plugging the unit in.

The only downside I can think of for the MVP is that it's disposable. Once the battery dies, that's it, it's dead. You can't get batteries for it from non-vaping sources. But my next (and hopefully last) mod will probably be an MVP. I love my little vv3 and would like something with more battery life I could use as on pass through and as a battery backup.

Bottom line is they're both 'flat output' mods, so yes, they taste pretty much the same. The biggest difference is lifespan. The Provari is designed for 20 years and the MVP is designed for 1 or 2. Six of one, half dozen of the other I'd say.

The MVP and the Provari both supply a flat DC signal to the atomizer. So they both will vape the same with the same topper and set to the same voltage setting. The MVP does allow you to use Watts instead of volts which will give you slightly different voltage than the provari.

If you set the Provari to deliver 3.4 volts and you are using a 1.6 ohm coil in the atomizer the closest you can come to that with the MVP set to wattage is 7 or 7.5 watts. With either of those 2 wattage settings the volts being supplied to the atomizer is either 3.34V and 3.46V respectively.

That might be why you think the MVP vapes better. But in actuality they are the same.

I do have both the MVP and a Provari Mini. I like both, but do prefer the vape on the Provari. I find it to be a bit smoother no matter what I have on top; Kayfun Lite, Trident RDA, etc.

That said, I really appreciate the convenience of the MVP. It's kind of like the old ad, "set it and forget it." No batteries to fiddle with, etc.

I think having both is a nice place to be.

I own an MVP and three Provari's. Guess which one I prefer? ;)

Although the vape experience between the MVP and a Provari are extremely similar due to the flat pulse modulation, the Provari does it throughout its battery life. The MVP's performance will noticably sag toward the end of the battery life. The Provari's power regulation chip is superior. The last draw is as good as the first.

I too own a MVP and 2 Provari minis. The MVP was my adv device and I could never get a whole day out of the battery. A friend and I ordered the same day her's lasts a couple of hours longer. Since getting the Provari's I haven't used my MPV. I find it easier to carry a spare battery in my pocket than a back up spinner, or find an outlet to charge. It did come in handy a few times charging my cell phone enough to get in a quick call. What amazed me about the Provari is the last vape IS as good as the first. I don't regret buying the MVP. It will not sit in my vape box. It will be given to another friend who is wanting to take the next step. She's had her eye on it for a while now. It's not what you vape that matters. What matters is that you vape!!! It's all good!!

I’ve had the MVP for about a month and the Provari mini for a few days.
I prefer the MVP for its battery life (it runs for days) and the Provari for its magical powers. They both vape about the same – slight advantage to the Provari due to the magical powers. I also prefer the ergonomics of the Provari mini. I don’t really like the location of the button on the MVP. That said – Both are keepers for sure.

Well, really it doesn't matter if anyone else thinks it vapes as good as the Provari. It only matters if you do. I know that's not very helpful but I just wanted to throw that out there because really it's only what you think about the devices you're using the matters since you're the one using them.

Both the Provari and the MVP 2 are great devices. I've owned both. I prefer the Provari Mini, but that's mainly due to how well they fit in my hand. I have tiny hands, and didn't realize how unnatural the MVP felt in them until I picked up a Provari Mini. I have the extension for one of the Provari's I own, but I barely use it and I prefer them in the 18350 size. I just carry extra batteries with me, and I'm good to go.

I do love the look of the fancy schmacy mods, but untill some company comes out with one that you don't have to buy extra batteries and charger, I will stick with the mvp. :)

This is an absolutely awesome illustration of personal preference. I've never owned an mvp, but the strong point of most mods is that you can carry extra batteries. I'm just delighted that we can both be so happy with what we have.

Both devices are good. The downside to an MVP is its lifespan. I want my devices to last years and years. They both Vape about the same with Provari having the same Vape even when the battery is getting low.

When I first started vaping I initially wanted an MVP. I decided against it because I wanted something that you can change the battery if it dies. I went with the VTR. I used it exclusively for several months. I even bought another VTR. Both still work great but get hardly any use now. I've purchased tons of different devices since, including 3 ProVaris. My favorite for daily use is a Provari/Russian or Kayfun. I say whatever makes a person happy. We all have different tastes.

One option for the Provari is getting the full size and extension cap. That makes it use 18650 batteries and a much longer battery life.

Yes, that is the beauty of vaping, we can purdy (personalize) up our own devices the way we like.
I don't carry a big purse so the mvp fits nicely with my celliphone in my clutch :) But I will admit I do also have a 650mah tucked away in the side pocket just for an emergency...lol
