And this guy asked me if I smoked, I said yea and he started telling me all about how he could get me off cigs TODAY IN FACT. I knew where he was going so I played along and sure enough he was selling ecigs and had a kiosk there that has the best product in the world. Works wonders to help stop smoking.....I played along said I needed enough battery's to last all day and that I had tried the over the counter ones and went through 2 cartos a day he said no problem and he could even set me up to where my cartos would be in my mailbox. Sounded good enough but the last time he was trying to say I can have you off those smokes as he hit my shirt pocket I realized how he pegged me a smoker in the first place cause I had my Reo Grand in my pocket. I pulled it out showed him the battery and the bottle and how it worked and he never batted a eye and kept trying to push the benefits of the blu kit he was wanting me to get, mind you the "kit" at this point with the extra batteries and cart's was north of 300 I ended up telling him good luck and walking off. When I came back by he was trying again so I told him that he was trying to sell to the wrong person tried to be nice but was not receptive to anything other than what he was taught to sell....

Sent from my truck using 3 toasters a broken microwave and 6 rubber bands McGyver style......Chuck Norris aint got crap on me

I clonked the last mall kiosk guy over the head with my 2 x 18650 Silver Bullet mod and pulled him under the Kiosk, I then gave out the entire mall all of his $300 kits and told everyone it was free demo day and they where offering a free Ecig kit to help everyone out because they over charged to many and they just wanted to make it up and give out these free kits. Not, but I would like to do so at times ;)

I've been tempted to hit up the local mall and see if there are any e-cig vendors there that I could troll. However, our mall is a ghetto filth pit that attracts all the trash (it's one step above Walmart) so I refuse to step foot in that place. Our local ghetto liquor stores (I'm on a first name basis with the guys that work at them) have less ....ty people in them.

I actually know a couple people who work at these mall things and believe it or not they still have helped more people get of cigs that the majority of us ever will.

I agree that trying to sell to someone who knows there stuff is a waste of time. I don't agree that they haven't played a role in getting many people started on the path to better health. Many people would have never tried e-cigs at all without them. Granted many of the people who buy their products end up on sites like this looking for advice and feeling silly that they were sold an dud of a product for far too much. But think about it. Would they be better off if they were still smoking analogs? They have high overhead, rental space, employees paperwork etc. I doubt they are getting rich, any of them.

They WOULD get rich, if they sold them at a decent price, and sold quality kits in the first place... The "Vapor Station" here sells really good juice with the best TH I've ever seen, but it's only available in 18MG (which is absurd) and costs $20 for a 10ml bottle. They also sell halfway decent analog-sized kits, but for an exorbitant price. The young lady at the store was probably about 18, and had no idea what an Ego or even a 510 was. Yet she happily vaped away on her whateveritwas clearomizer system. That made me happy, because she wasn't smoking cigarettes. She did it sort of in a rehearsed fashion though, which makes me think it was probably 0mg... She just shrugged when I pulled out my Ego-T, which I found amusing. If you're going to try to hock some juice, at least do your homework and know your basic popular models!

Lmao. When I was in Vegas at Caesar's Palace, there was a guy trying to sell Brilliant Smoke e-cigs for $200. It's basically a Blu Starter Kit, maybe a little better or worse. I went to their website and laughed at the video of the skanky dressed up girls blowing nearly no vapor as they take their 'Brilliant Smoke' e-cig out of it's giant box. No thanks, I'm happy with my 900mAH eGo + Kanger T2 which blows vapor all over that competition.

Haha. I find it scary and hilarious, personally, that there are still such brands out there. I mean, don't get me wrong, if you get off analogs, that's freaking awesome. It really is, because that should be the purpose. But they shouldn't cost an arm and a leg. This forum should be sent by email to every home in the world. I suppose that there will always be knockoffs and exorbitant prices everywhere for everything though... Because people are people.

Smartphones really help as well.. If you are interested in a mall kiosk type product you can do a 5 minute google search to see if they are on the level. I tested this theory once researching mall sold remote control helicopters. It directed me to an rc forum where they were very passionate about the subject. Just like we are here about the mall e cig.

Well, I was one of those rubes who paid $200 for a "Ultra Deluxe Supreme" kit at a kiosk two years ago. Guy told me each cartridge was the "equivalent of one pack of cigarettes", which had me worried when I managed to suck one dry on the drive home from the mall. I think that kit lasted a week before I upgraded to a $40 Joye 510 set.

I haven't been back to that mall since... I should go back there now with my Omega 18650, blow clouds of vapor until his kiosk is enveloped, then just hand out ECF business cards to passers by.

At least that purchase got me off analogs and eventually to this site.

It is a good point that these mall e-cigs have helped some people. The problem is that there are many others who have been so misinformed by them as well.
If a person were considering trying e-cigs, they might see what these people are selling and believe that those are the best there are.

Agreed. It is hard to convince some people that there are better alternatives, especially when the kiosk nazis may tell you that they have the best prices. I myself went home years ago and did my homework, and luckily found this site. My friend, whom I am desperately trying to convince, is skeptical, and fears that it will make her breath smell terrible, as one shoddy kit did to her associate. I'd hate to try that juice! Apparently he has excellent oral hygiene, so it's not his breath. But now she is convinced that it will destroy her breath. I might have to just mail her a 510 or something. lol
