Another vote for the Hello 016. i'm using LR attys that's suppose to drain the battery faster, but i can go all day and then some.
And for the price, why look at anything else??

Recently I was researching same issue and got to conclusion that EastMall Riva would be my best pick.

Than I started checking out mods [http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/requests-opinions-reviews/119638-em-riva-vs-3-7-box-mod.html] - idea or easy caring couple of small $5 900mAh batteries was appealing.

After all I've placed order last night for MadVapes box mod.

It may not look to good, but functionality should be great and I still have two manual batts for public events.

I own all those types of batteries, 510 regular (180mah), 510 Mega (280mah), eGo 650, eGo 900 and Hello 016. With chain vaping I use about 100 mah per hour, so math is simple: 510 bat less then 2 hours, eGo 650 - 6 hours (not enough for a full work day) eGo 900 - full work day + commute, some times run out by the end of the day. Hello 016 full day. I dont like to carry assembled Hello 016 in the pocket, it looks like it may be strain on the attomizer/battery connection and Ego with cone may be better protection for that junction. My current preference is eGo 900mah with mega 510 atomizer as a main unit, eGo 650 as a spare everyday battery and Hello 016 is for home use or a large spare for going out for a weekend (fishing, camping). There is USB eGo 650 battery in order and I hope that will last me through the whole work day with constant recharge during the day (I work at the desk with computers).

Well I think I have decided that since I am home a lot and usually near a computer that a USB pass-through is the answer. I have a PCC and I vape a lot less when I am out and about (usually that means shopping or in college classes). Now I am just wondering if a 5v pass-through will shorten the life of a standard 510 atty and if so by a lot or a little? If it is a lot then I will probably go with a standard voltage pass-through. I will probably order one tonight in just a little while.

grab a low resistance atty for the 5v pass through. I think that's what they say to do lol

OK the 5v USB pass-through 3 LR attys and a drip tip are all ordered from Madvapes. I've yet to try dripping and the drip tip was only 3.49 so I figure what the heck it's worth a try.

LR Atty's and Higher Voltage??? I think you are going to burn them out pretty quick. LR atty's are there to simulate high voltage.

OHM's Law V=IR or Voltage = Current x Resistance... So Higher Voltage and Lower Resistance is a double whammy. You should get some serious vapor though!

Well, I am not speaking from experience here, but I think the logic is sound. Maybe try a search here about HV and LR and see what comes up. You can always use the LR atty's with your batteries, but it can damage the smaller batteries and will definitely decrease your battery time, more power being used.

This tends to indicate they go for Higher resistance with the higher voltage.

This was just a quick search, but you may want to cancel the LR attys if you can.

Yup I put in a support ticket to change that to 3 regular attys since I don't see any HV attys there. I just hope they get to the ticket before they ship it out. I probably don't really need 3 more regular attys but you can probably never have too many, and they will get used eventually.

You are probably fine with the regular attys. I am still waiting for my 901 passthrough. On the 501, you have manual control so just take it easy. They'll get hotter with the higher voltage, so just make sure your carts don't run dry and you should be fine. Again, I am pretty new to this so don't take what I say as gospel.
