And I like it alot... Have bought one extra battery because I lost one of the initial ones that came with the starter kit... and I've bought a USB attachment to save on battery usage when I'm on the computer... First off, forgive me for not knowing all the lingo >.< It's like a foreign language to me at the moment... I'm sure I'll get used to it before long...

Anyways, back to my inquiries :D

I like the Smoketip... but feel kind of sad because I don't see it recognized anywhere on the forum :(
I guess I should have found the forums sooner... I did a bit of research on e-cigarettes before I bought one but, I suppose, not quite enough :(

So, I want to try to refill my little refill cartridges with e-juice... I can't afford to buy a whole other starter kit right now so I'll have to do what I can with what I have :( Single mother of 4... can't afford to make too many mistakes with purchases >.<

I need to know the most affordable juice that's not going to taste like it's really affordable

I like the tobacco flavor, not very sweet, and around 10-15mg nicotine... I wouldn't mind finding a nice variety pack so that I wouldn't feel like I was wasting my money totally on something I may not like... Really really really tight budget :(

Using juices would be cheaper than the cartridges, right?

I hope you guys can understand this garble >.<
And thanks so much! :D

Smoker for 18yrs, haven't smoked in a month... the difference is immeasurable.

I actually started out with SmokeTip!! It's a great way to be introduced to vaping:) The reason you don't hear it being mentioned very much is (1) It's an automatic battery, and (2) They don't tell you that the cartomizers that you are using can be refilled.

Other than that, it's a very decent kr808 set up for starting. Warlike is right, you can do some great swapping and trading in PIF that will help out with the financial burden of trying all of the different juices.

Remember to check out the Stickys in the New Member's forum. Especially, MistressNomad's "I made videos for newbies..." It will show you how to refill your SmokeTip cartomizers.

Good luck and congratulations on staying off the stinkies for a month!!

Hi Dani, Welcome!!!

I started with SmokeTip and still use them after 8mths of being cig free. I have other models too, but still love my SmokeTip and the lifetime guarantee on the batteries. Here's a link to a review on the forums.
Hope it helps:

SmokeTip Review

There are tons of juice reviews on the forums, the problem is that taste is so subjective. Did you like the tobacco flavor that came with the kit? The closest I've come to SmokeTip's tobacco is
VaporNine Carolina. Seems to be out of stock right now. But you'll get many suggestions for liquid :)

Oh! That helps so much! That's kind of what I'm worried about... I don't want something too drastically different than the Smoketip flavor... for right now anyway... and I'm pretty sure that I'll be mostly vaping tobacco flavored liquids and carts, regardless, so that helps alot :D

I have a question though... I read in one of the posts about Vapors Etc. and they had a very good sampler deal so I ordered it... the print out seems alittle weird... my name's not on it or anything else that would show it was my order :( Has anyone ordered from them before??

Ok, so something like this page... it looks really similar to mine... how can I tell if it's a kr808 if it doesn't state it specifically =\

I've ordered from Vapors Etc. a lot and never had a problem :) The liquid I've gotten from them has been very good, but I didn't order the tobacco so I can't say. I'm so into other flavors now :)
You can contact Ross, through the contact page, he's really helpful. Give him your order number. Check out their Facebook page if you use Facebook. It will put your mind at rest :)

If you're not sure it's 808 compatible always ask. Vapors Etc. has 808's, V4L is ALL 808's. Vapor Kings has 808's, there's a lot of 808 vendors. You can ask the vendor, or post here or send me a PM and I'll check for you if you're still in doubt.

Hope this helps :)

omg, you're so sweet! ty so very much >.< I always worry that I won't get alllll the information I need and end up buying something that seems to be right but it's not quite right... probably because it's happened to me too much =\

I soooo love the way everyone is willing to help on here... and post reviews and good/bad experiences... it makes for a much more comforting journey, especially for people like me, who haven't had very much experience with online purchasing...

I'm sure it won't be this way for much longer, but for right now, it seems that online is pretty much the only way to buy and maintain vaping devices...

Thank you again :)

Re not seeing much about Smoketip on the forum... Here we mostly discuss models by their real Chinese model numbers rather than the names various rebranders use. Smoketip is a KR808D-1, I think an auto shorty battery. There is plenty of discussion about KR808D-1 as well as one rebrander, Vapor4Life where 3 sizes of auto and manual batteries plus the most prefilled soft-cap cartomizers are sold as well as some good blanks and juices.

Tobaccos - Unfortunately the cheapest premade liquids are the Chinese Dekang stuff (100% PG) and Madvapes TopVapor which does not have tobacco flavors? There are no samples of either. The smallest size is 5ml for Madvapes and 10ml for Dekang (see LiteCigUSA.net for 10ml. Madvapes for cheap 50ml Dekang). Even cheaper than that is to make your own, but that would be hit or miss before you find specific tobaccos you like.

If you can find a Dekang PG tobacco you like then that will be very cheap.

If I'm reading correctly, it's showing the 50ml bottles for 10.99?
Is it show cheap because it's made in China?
Have people bought the 50ml bottles?
How long do they take to come in?
And are they pretty good?

Lots of questions, I know >.<
But if I'm reading correctly... I am getting a ton more for a ton less... not much more than some of the samples... and if I were to buy the unflavored, then I could just buy flavors and it would be a great deal cheaper, right? And those are already premixed with the nicotine solution so I wouldn't have to mess with anything but flavorings?

Are there any real downsides to this?

I started with smoketip too, and I still have it. In spite of the relatively high initial cost for the kit, around $59 they will replace batteries forever..no questions asked! They have replaced two of mine =). The tobacco juice in the cartos is dekang USA mix. I think madvapes has it and they sell it really cheap. There are plenty of posts here about how to refill the cartos, and you can probably find a source to buy some new empty ones for cheap

Oh! That's exactly what I needed to know! That will definitely be my all day vape... I still feel like I'm using some of the terms wrong, but you get it, I hope :D

Going to buy some now... and now I won't have to worry so much about messing around with the sample packs since I know I'll have one I know I like coming in... I can search around and find my little treat ones :D

I 2nd the PIF thread. I can also offer two recommendations for vendors goodEjuice and DFW Vapor. I've only gotten one order from goodeJuice but they are or at least were registered with ECF,and they offer 3ml samples, I got my order quickly but they make their juices to order so you may need to let them sit awhile before vaaping. I hear nothing but good about them and their prices are really affordable (especially when compared to regular cgis).

DFW Vapor is not a forum vendor but I've ordered from them 3 times, they are quick to get their orders out, I have heard nothing but good things about their customer service and I can vape their juices right away. Their prices are low but the smallest bottle they offer is 10ml. I have only tried their US juices. So far I haven't found one that I can't stomache. I really like their Marlboro and their cappuccino.

(Aword of warning about the caramel Machiato. It tastes JUST like caramel very yummy but its also very strong and difficult to get cleaned out of attys or carts if you try it give it it's own atty/cart.)

that same juice used to be called 'marl' or 'marb' so don't let varying names confuse you- dekang had to quit calling it that due to a 'copyright violation' so they started using 'USA mix'...but I'm sure it's the same, I tried a lot of tobacco juice trying to find some that was like the cartos that came from smoketip, and the dekang usa mix was dead on the same =)

I ordered 30ml... You have made me a very happy camper :D That's honestly the reason I was so hesitant... looking for the kind you really like makes you leery of making too many "try new things" purchases...

And I know too well that there are some out there that I do NOT love... I've been having a problem with running out of cartos before my new order comes in... It's happened twice... I'm going through a spell right now...

I've bought disposable ones both times... One type was the 21st Century brand disposable... that one's not horrible, but definitely nowhere near great... it's close to the Smoketip flavor but it has alittle something extra that's unappealing... not sure what...

And the other one... omg... was the most horrible thing ever... it had no name on it... the carto was plastic... it had the most horrible taste... barely stomach'able(not a word, I know this :D)... and I payed 11 bucks for it :(

Did not want to accidentally stumble upon that flavor, for cripe's sake... must be called Kiss of Death or something...

Thanks again =D

some of the dekangs (that i have tried) need to steep for a while so the flavor mellows out a bit. by steeping i mean take off the cap and the drip part of the bottle and let it sit like that for few days to get "aired out". some liquids are border line un-vapable but a week later they are super. obviously, if you dont mind what it tastes like right when you get it....vape so it looks like your house is on fire ;-) congrats to quitting smoking btw!
